Thank you for supporting me and the Ronald McDonald House of Austin. Your contribution is greatly appreciated. My climb is in honor of all the families that have stayed at this home away from home. Thank you for helping me help our Ronald McDonald House keep families together.
In an effort to create continuing awareness about the sacrifices the men and women of the United States Armed Forces have made on behalf of communities nationwide, I have spearheaded an effort to carry two hand-bound leather books to the top of Mount Everest, the highest place on Earth. One book contains the names of the fallen warriors from both the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars. The second book represents all who have served in both wars, putting themselves in harms way to protect our Nation and their families, willing to give the ultimate sacrifice - their own life.
In recognition of your support, all donations to the House of $100 or more will receive a signed 2009 Everest Tribute Nike cap from me.
